Hi, I’m Lindsay Potter

Mental Performance Coach | Hall of Fame Athlete | Mom of Teen Athletes

Every student athlete faces unique pressures and challenges that can leave them feeling overwhelmed and anxious. I’ve been there.

In my senior year of high school, I was a captain and one of the highest-scoring players on my lacrosse team, but that didn’t protect me from adversity. During a state championship game, my coach benched me and told me I would never make it in the sport.”

That moment could’ve crushed me. Instead, I used it as fuel.

I went on to become a two-time NCAA All-American and was later inducted into my college’s Hall of Fame.

Why I Do This Work

With over 25 years of experience as a competitive athlete and coach, I’ve seen firsthand how many young athletes battle performance pressure without the mental tools to handle it.

I’ve coached youth and high school sports, and I’m also a mom to two teenage athletes, so I deeply understand the emotional rollercoaster that comes with sports.

As I watched more athletes struggle with burnout, anxiety, and self-doubt, one question became crystal clear:

Why aren’t we teaching the mental side of athletic performance the way we teach the physical?

That question drove me to become a Certified Mental Performance Coach and create a new path forward for the next generation.
